With StrideCharge, Cyclists Can Ride for Hours with a Charged Phone

Every cyclist knows the importance of bringing along their cell phones when they ride. Whether it is a professional needing to keep track of their pace, a courier monitoring their text messages for new orders, or a teen keeping in touch with their parents, their phone is almost as important to them as their bike. When the cell phone dies, then, the entire ride is thrown off, as the rider must search for an available electrical outlet at a convenience store or gas station, which is often nowhere in sight. StrideCharge is solving this problem with its patent-pending wireless Charging Phone Case and Handlebar Mount for bicycles. Riding the open road is now a lot easier and even more fun.

StrideCharge understands that no two cyclists are alike: some are naturally adept at using power tools and screwdrivers while others steer clear of them. So, its design team, who are also riders, focused on simplicity first and foremost for the iPhone Charge Case, built-in battery, and Mount.  No tools are needed to attach the Mount to the handlebars. Cyclists can simply locks it onto any handlebars that measure 25-40mm in diameter.

StrideCharge also knows that few things are as annoying as a product that fits well in the beginning but gradually slips out of place more and more as time goes on. That is why the company did extensive testing, riding over rough terrain, to make sure its Mount would stay put, grip-free. Riders can just put it on and ride with confidence.

No cyclist can predict the terrain - rocks, changes in the pavement, tree roots, and even potholes can come up unexpectedly, making a ride bumpy. That translates to shocks and vibrations that can damage your Apple iPhone. With this in mind, StrideCharge prioritized durability and chose to use two of the toughest materials out there: ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) and TPU (thermoplastic polyurethanes). By incorporating them into the iPhone Charge Case and Mount, StrideCharge gives its customers the peace of mind that their cell phones will be protected as they zip along mountain trails and park paths.

While the ability to keep an iPhone charged through a ride and safe from vibrations means convenience for the cyclist, one more innovation was needed: the ability to use a phone even when it is charging. StrideCharge has made this possible, too, and in one IPhone Charge Case and Mount, it is solving all of the problems that cyclists have struggled with ever since cell phones were invented.

With the launch of StrideCharge’s wireless Charging Phone Case and Mount a success, the company is now moving into a secondary market: other sports enthusiasts who would like the assurance that no matter where they go, their phones will be charged. Golfers, hikers, campers, and even people who spend all day fishing at a river or lake are using StrideCharge’s product to stay in touch with the world.

StrideCharge is ultimately making it easier for all of us - cyclists or not - to balance our need for independence, solitude, and fun with the reality that we must stay in touch with the “real world” on some level. Until the company’s Charging Phone Case and Mount came out, we only had two options: we could be alone, or we could be in touch with our friends, co-workers, and family members.

Now, we can have the best of both worlds. One does not have to interrupt the other. And that is making a lot of cyclists very happy.
